Vida Senior Centers is moving forward quickly and adapting to changing times.  The aging community is growing and the population that Vida Senior Centers serves is expanding to include seniors of African, African-American and Brazilian descent, in addition to seniors from Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean.

To accommodate the  needs of this growing population, Vida Senior Centers is planning to build a second center in the Brightwood neighborhood in NW, Washington, DC.  The organization is currently working with architects and funders to begin construction on the 40-unit housing complex and community center.  Vida Senior Centers is aggressively pursuing additional sources of funding for this important project.  If you, or someone you know, would like to contribute to this new center, please contact our Executive Director, Angel Luis Irene, at (202) 483-6141 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
